Personal dining in the comfort of your own home, garden or yacht was the concept behind the Blu advertising programme when International Chef Steven May formed Blu Catering & Consultancy in 2004.

Since then, the company has expanded into other areas that include kitchen consultancy, staff recruitment and menu construction. This concept has proved very successful with former contracts at 4Friends in Estepona Port and the Mar Azul Apart Hotel just east of Estepona. New contracts at Bar Diva in the Antonio Banderas Plaza at Puerto Banus and Louie’s Lounge in Nuevo Andalucía at the rear of the Casino will be ongoing well into the 2008 season.

Born in England, International Chef Steven was trained and qualified through the Ramada/Renaissance Hotel group in the UK, and with over 20 years experience applied his skills to many top Hotels in London, Southampton, Gatwick and Guernsey, Austria and Spain.
Steven is well known for creating marvellously delicious and inventive menus. His meticulous attention to hygiene and preparation combined with his talent for presenting wonderful food cannot be duplicated.

Home Catering, prepared, plated and served by a chef in full kitchen whites or by a professional waitress is a very chic way of impressing guests in the surroundings of your own home.
Since 2004 Chef Steven has served fabulous food for the rich and famous along the Costa del Sol from Fuengirola to Sotogrande. Christmas day is no exception for the Blu Catering & Consultancy team, whether it is a traditional Turkey prepared meal for 30 or pre-cooked and delivered fayre for smaller groups, the company will endeavour to make your party very special.

Operational remit. Dining out at one of the Blu kitchen managed eating houses is a truly mouth watering experience, attention to detail both in the way the food is cooked and presented is paramount to the way that Chef Steven and his team operate. Similarly the same applies to preparing and presenting host and hostess designed menus to their guests in the comfort of their homes.
